POLES * FLOORING * LUMBER
Ohia, or ohia lehua is one of the most common and widespread large trees of Hawaii. A large Ohia can run 80 feet in height and 3 plus feet in diameter. The wood is heavy, very hard, strong, and was used by early Hawaiians in carvings and household implements. Today the wood is used in flooring, decking, and other furniture pieces. The peeled tree trunks are frequently used to support porches and serve as natural beams throughout many custom homes.
We sell Ohia as flooring, lumber, as well as poles for homes througout Hawaii and even ship Ohia poles to homes across the ocean.
