A beautiful Hawaiian Hardwood introduced to the islands probably in the early 1800's. A medium to large tree that frequently grows to around 50-65 feet in height and 2-3 feet in diameter. Bark is a somewhat smooth, brown, with a beautiful blond wood that frequently stains during drying to form unique and wonderful color variations.

Mango is hard, moderately heavy, works easily and sands beautifully making wonderful furniture, bowls and other unique gift items.

Mango can be made into wonderful flooring and plywood.
